All 6 check-in counters are open due high season (deepavali long weekend). Arrived at 1510, check-in done by 1530. Only 20 minutes queuing even though it was packed. Syabas. But there was a bit of confusions with my room. I was supposed to stay at the Gloria Residences (apt side), but they’ve given me a room at Grand Ion Delemen (hotel side). After trying to call the help line several times (it was busy hour, so understandable), finally I got connected and transferred to the room reservation team who helped me to get the room as per my original booking at 1730. It’s a silver lining coz I didn’t need to wait for them to get my room ready at the lobby like other people. I can relax in the room while waiting for the bell boy to come and bring us to our apartment.

It was spacious and clean with spectacular view from the balcony. The TV was the biggest I’ve ever seen in a hotel room this size.
Amenities: 5/5
Got basic amenities like toiletries, bathrobe, iron, fridge, towels, hair dryer, etc. Love the shower gel/shampoo coz it didn’t make our hair frizzy even after using hair dryer. Love another small detail which is the laundry bag, it’s a paper bag instead of plastic bag. Nice touch.
Swimming pool: 4/5
Heated indoor swimming pool. No booking needed. Open until 2100. You need to bring the towels/bathrobe from your room. Floaties are rented for RM30. Too bad they didn’t have hot water for the showers in the changing room. It was freezing cold. Maybe they forgot to turn it on. I’m not sure. We just dried ourselves and took a bath in our room.
Other facilities: 4/5
They have several cafes and restaurants in-site but only 2 open at night. So we went to GWR for dinner. They also have an arcade but it was closed and shuttle bus to GWR was not available at that time. I guess they haven’t managed to get more staffs to handle everything. Hopefully, it will be better next time.
Staffs: 5/5
Very friendly and helpful. Everybody from the concierge, check-in staffs, makcik cleaner and the pool guard was willing to answer our questions politely and even giving some suggestions to help us or just having a chat with us.
Overall: 10/10
With this price, I got more than I’ve ever hope for. Very satisfied.
